Our Biblical Distinctives

Scripture contains all we need for life and godliness. As such, we are committed to biblical counseling, expository preaching, and seeking biblical wisdom in all decisions.

We are committed to carrying out the Great Commission through the work of local service and outreach and participation in global missions.

The church is tasked with preparing the saints for ministry and faithfulness. We are devoted to sharpening believers through Biblical and theological equipping and encouraging them towards Christlikeness.

Worship is the vocation of the church in all of life and particularly in the Sunday gathering. In our services, we strive to honor God through the  thoughtful observation of the ordinances, the faithful preaching of the word, consistent prayer, and theologically-sound congregational singing.

We seek to be a body of believers that is marked by ceaseless prayer both individually and corporately.

The church is to be led by a plurality of qualified men called pastors or elders. These men are to teach, lead, and shepherd God's flock under the authority of the Lead Shepherd, Christ.

The church is a a supernatural community, united by Christ's work and His indwelling Spirit. Our church seeks to reflect this through a commitment to developing loving intergenerational relationships and encouraging  sanctification.

The church is not a mere voluntary association, but a family and a body. That body is healthiest when each member is serving in alignment with his or her gifting and held accountable to the body through loving and  God-honoring church discipline.
